Starting point : Appel Street (opposite the Canungra Hotel and the public toilets). 08.15 start. Suggest you park in Appel Street. Fully sealed quiet roads, but some parts can be a little rough. ANY BIKE should be OK.
Approx. 4% climb for about 19 km’s + 2 pinches @ 12%. Stop at a nice 300 degree view lookout, 9 k from O’Reilly’s. Coffee / snack / toilet stop at destination. Lunch back in Canungra, if you wish. The ride will not proceed if rain is forecast. Caution required due to possible leaves on road, blind corners and a couple of cattle grids. Alex Geels mobile: 0490 456 804. The O’Reilly’s café is generally open from 0900. They can be contacted on 5544 0520. The downhill is among the best in Qld – but caution is required – otherwise best wear a Superman suit !!.

This ride starts from the Administration Road car park (next to the Queensport Rock Park, under the Gateway Bridge) at Murarrie. To get there, heading East along Lytton Rd, turn left on to Administration Road just before the turn off to the Gateway Motorway. Follow Administration Road Northwards for 600 metres until you reach the car park.
The ride will take us to Capalaba, then along Finucane Rd & Allenmby Rd to Wellington Point Township.
Then, we‘ll follow the Moreton Bay Cycle track to Beth Boyd Park and head to Wynnum for coffee/breakfast. We‘ll come back to the Administration car park via Hemmant.
