SCENIC RIM RIDE, O’NIGHT in BOONAH
August 13, 2020 @ 8:00 am - August 14, 2020 @ 2:00 pm
This is an annual pilgrimage to the Scenic Rim. This year we have organised a start on Thursday so we can visit the Mt Alford Brewery. It is some time away from this ride so in case the Mt Alford is not open, a back up will be the Duggandan Hotel. Details of both are below.
Start time
We are planning to meet Thursday August 13, 2020 at 09:30hrs at Peaks Crossing.
Accommodation
Most of us are planning to stay at the Boonah Hotel. https://www.boonahmotel.com/. If you wish to stay there, please organise your accommodation by calling them on 54631944.
Bag Service
A bag service for $15 each for those interested. All you need to do is drop the bag off into my car and they will be deposited at the Boonah Motel during the day in time for our arrival. For the return journey, we just leave the bags at the Boonah Motel and they will be back at Peak Crossing (in my car) by the time we get back.
Mt Alford Brewery
The Scenic Rim brewery in Mt Alford is normally open on Thursday. Details of brewery can be seen on the follow web page. https://www.scenicrimbrewery.com.au/.
Run Sheets
Below are the run sheets for the first day. The second day will have two options one at 28km, the other (with fewer hills) at 44km. We will talk these through during our evening meal starting at 6:30pm.
