The 14th annual BBTA Warwick Supported Tour will be held on the weekend of 21 & 22 November 2020, with the start and finish of the ride in Cambooya, about 20 minutes south-west of Toowoomba. Saturday’s ride is 95km and the ride back on Sunday 80km. And we finish at the pub in Cambooya, so food and drink are available to celebrate the finish!
If you are in for this supported weekend tour please email Peter at email@example.com, with registrations closing two weeks before the tour. This ride is for BBTA members only, so if you are not a member, join now (go to www.bbta.org)!
On Saturday we travel from Cambooya on quiet country roads through the country town of Allora (70km), where we stop for morning tea at Amy’s Country Cafe before arriving in Warwick (95km). On Sunday we head back through Allora (25km), stopping in Clifton (50km) for morning tea before the very relaxing finish at the pub in Cambooya (80km).
REGISTERING & ACCOMMODATION WARWICK
Email Peter nominating your approximate average speed by Friday 6 November. By registering you are automatically booked into the Horse & Jockey Motel. If that motel is booked out before the due date an email will come out with revised pricing for a second motel.
If you have a person or group happy to share a room(s) please let Peter know when registering. Please indicate if you would prefer a single room. Payment for the tour is due by Friday 6 November. Accommodation payments are non-refundable after this date. Dinner Saturday & Breakfast on Sunday to be advised, but will be payable on arrival if ordered.

For those who have toured with Peter before, bank details for payment are the same as previous. For those coming along for the first time, please ask for details when booking in.
THE ROUTE (with elevation)
START/FINISH TIMES & SPEED GROUPS
The tour starts from 7:00am onwards on Saturday 21 November. The plan is to have 3 speed groups for the tour, depending on numbers, with groups starting at different times. Each day the slowest group will start earliest, so that we all finish within a similar time frame.

B – 7:20am: 23-26km/h

POST RIDE SATURDAY
With COVID-19 restrictions at this stage we will be waiting on what can be done at the end of the ride and I will keep everyone posted. And take a wander into Warwick – it has some great cafes!
