A top Club email from Ian Chant a week ago, on 24th, summarising special rides already on the calendar for this year. Ian suggested looking ahead to consider which rides interest you and to register now. You can always cancel your registration any time, but having a list of people interested in a particular ride certainly helps us with planning the detail of each ride. So, Thanks for doing that.
The new Club Jerseys orders online will stay open for just 5 more days, closing off this Wednesday evening 5th. We then will place a bulk order to Scody and will keep you informed on manufacturing. Basically,..Its Last Orders NOW,..
Special rides this month are
a) Glorious Mee and Nebo a 190 km training ride to prepare for the Victorian Peaks ride just 6 weeks away. Put on by Peter Damm,…So, Tuesday 4th and Saturday 22nd.
b) Bayside Breeze,..a brand new ride by Heather Jeffcoat and Aileen Franklin Sunday 9th and 23th Leaving Lota train station carpark at 8.10 am. Distance is 40 km from Lota to Cleveland return at a steady to moderate pace. Please consider.
c) Brunch - Nudgee Beach Sunday 16th leaving Kalinga Park at 7.30 am. Put on by Iain Moore.
d) Samford via the Rail Trail a 70 km road bike ride on Tuesday 18th at a brisk pace around 27kmh. The ride leaves the Nundah Crit track at 6.30 am
The Regular monthly rides are
a) Alt Oasis each Tuesday leaving the Nundah Crit track at 6.30 am Coffee at Shorncliffe.
b) Redcliffe Run each Thursday leaving the Nundah Crit track at 6.30 am.
c) Coffee at the Beach each Thursday leaving the Nundah Crit track at 7.30 am Coffee
at Sandgate Town Hall Bakery.
d) Saturday Arvo Ride each Saturday leaving the Windsor Train station carpark at 3 pm.

Peter Brennan’s Nanango to Kingaroy Supported tour is on the weekend of the 8th and 9th March with 17 riders and 4 supporters registered so far. Registrations are only open for another 3 weeks. Please consider.
Lawrence Ferrari has two multi day tours on offer. Firstly a 2 day event as ‘A short raid over the Border’ to prepare the gear and the legs for the ’jewel,…being a 21 day saunter in South Australia known simply as ’Wine, Pink Lakes and Desert’. Planning for this later tour is well advanced, however, please talk to Lawrence if you would like to go.
