The BBTA Nanango-Kingaroy Supported Tour, will be held on the weekend of 9/10 March, starting and finishing in Nanango, about 2½ hrs NW of Brisbane and staying overnight in Kingaroy at the Burke & Wills Motel. ACCOMMODATION SATURDAY 9th MARCH: KINGAROY
We have 25 rooms booked at the Burke & Wills motel, Kingaroy. Once you book on the tour accommodation is organised for you for Saturday night. If you wish to be in a single room or have someone specific with whom you wish to share a twin room please let Peter know when booking.
COSTS
There is a ride fee of $25 (yes, it has gone up for the first time in 17 years and only riders pay) plus accommodation costs negotiated as a group booking with the Burke and Wills Motel in Kingaroy. Payments are due by Saturday 24th February.
Single $150 accommodation + $25 per rider
Double $150 accommodation + $25 per rider
Twin $80pp accommodation + $25 per rider

ACCOMMODATION FRIDAY 8th March: NANANGO
If you are planning to stay in Nanango on the Friday night before the tour I highly recommend the Fitzroy Motel (55 Fitzroy Street) which will be our start point on Saturday. Please book your accommodation directly with the motel on 07 4163 1100. Please let them know you are booking with the BBTA and quote Peter's name. We will probably dine at either the the Fitzroy Hotel, right next door to the motel, or the RSL club.
THE ROUTE
Saturday's ride takes us from Nanango on very quiet country roads to brunch in the village of Kumbia (43km) before heading on to our overnight stay in Kingaroy (74km or 86km), where we will relax after the ride. On Sunday we head out to the hamlet of Goodger before climbing up to Maidenwell for a break at the General store (42km), then on to the finish in Nanango (72km).

SUPPORT VEHICLES
If you are able to assist with support vehicle/crew please email Peter with details. The role of the support vehicles is to transport gear from the start at Nanango to Kingaroy (25km) and are not sag wagons. Riders are expected to achieve the distances stated without assistance and carrying your basic food/drink requirements, as per a normal club ride.
DINING
For dinner on Saturday we are booked into the ANZAC room at the Kingaroy RSL, about a 200m walk from the motel.
