Rides - Event View

This year we will be doing two loop rides out of the Killarney Hotel and return. If you want to check out a video of a previous year's ride please click here 2020 Killarney Loop Rides

Some riders will stay at the Killarney Hotel on Sept 3 evening and we will catch up for dinner at 6pm.  Dinner on Thursday September 4 will be at the Killarney Hotel at 6pm as well.

The start time for each day will be 09:00hrs and we meet at the Killarney Hotel.  

The collections in Ride with GPS has three routes.

The first route takes us up to Queen Mary Falls for a coffee at the Queen Mary Falls cafe then descends to The Head.  A left hand turn onto gravel and we head up the Condamine Gorge for up to 14 creek crossings on our way back to Killarney.   This year the creeks may have high water levels and if that is the case we will have two other rides to investigate, courtesy of Steve Page.

The first one, below,  heads out of Killarney up to the Acacia Plateau and then returns.  You can download the route from our Ride with GPS library

The second one, below, heads out to Mt Collier then up Stump Hill and then returns to Killarney.

The last ride, below, heads out along the Queensland - New South Wales Border before returning to Killarney.

The group will choose the rides based on the weather conditions, creek levels etc. on the day.  The preference for the first day is the Queen Mary Falls, Condamine Gorge loop.
