Rides - Event View

Be part of the Cobb and Co Festival celebrating the 100th anniversary of the last Cobb and Co coach ride in Australia from Surat to Yuleba. Starting in Condamine, we cycle to Glenmorgan, Surat, then up to Yuleba (some dirt) then back to the old Yuleba Creek State School and back to Condamine. In Surat the museum is of interest and you may be able to catch a wagon ride. There will be a concert, riverside markets, and a reenactment of the last coach ride. * Rider to pre-book accommodation or campsite at Condamine River Caravan Park, Surat Southside Camping, Yuleba Recreation Grounds and Miles Crossroads Caravan Park.

* Rider to pre-book dinner for both nights in Surat.

* Departure time to ride from Surat to Yuleba is after 9:00am, by arrangement with authorities. The road is officially closed to traffic on Saturday and Sunday to allow for the coach and horse reenactment ride over 2 days. We have special permission to ride on Sunday provided we start after 09:00am and stay well behind the coach and horses.

* It is recommended to have WhatsApp on your mobile and accept the invitation to join the ride chat.
