Come and ride the 18th annual BBTA Warwick Supported Tour, on the weekend of 16 & 17 November 2024 with the start and finish of the ride in Cambooya, about 20 minutes south-west of Toowoomba. This is one of the BBTA's longest running weekend tours on generally quiet country roads, with Saturday's ride being 95km and the ride back on Sunday 80km. And we finish at the pub in Cambooya, so food and drink are available to celebrate the finish!

This ride is for BBTA members only, so if you are not a member, join now (go to www.bbta.org)! If you have a person or group happy to share a room(s) please let Peter know when registering or indicate if you would prefer a single room. Also, if you have a non-riding partner who will be joining you in Warwick for accommodation let Peter know for bookings.

Dinner Saturday to be advised. All payment details will be emailed to registered riders in due course.
By registering you are automatically booked into the Horse & Jockey (H&J) Motel. There will be a $25 fee for riders to cover support and organisational costs. Non-cyclists do not pay the tour fee. Payment for the tour is non-refundable after the payment due date of Monday 4 November.
PRE-TOUR DINNER FRIDAY NIGHT IN TOOWOOMBA
For those coming up to stay in Toowoomba the night before the ride a pre-tour Dinner has been booked for 7pm at the Federal Hotel, James St, Toowoomba (next to Dan Murphy's). If you wish to be a part of this booking please register on a separate pink coloured entry on the calendar. Also, the Bull & Barley Inn, Cambooya, where we start the ride, has accommodation. Book early!
**Those attending Friday night need to organise their own accommodation in Toowoomba.
THE ROUTE (with elevation)
On Saturday we travel from Cambooya on quiet country roads through the country town of Allora (70km), where we stop for morning tea before arriving in Warwick (95km). On Sunday we head back through Allora (25km), stopping in Clifton (50km) for morning tea before the very relaxing finish at the pub in Cambooya (80km).

START/FINISH TIMES & SPEED GROUPS
The tour starts from 7:00am onwards on Saturday 16November from the park opposite the Bull & Barley Inn, Cambooya. The plan is to have 3 speed groups for the tour, depending on numbers, with groups starting at different times.
Proposed Speed Groups and Start times (Sunday 30 minutes earlier)
A - 7:00am: 18-22km/h
B - 7:15am: 23-26km/h
C - 7:30am: 27+km/h
SUPPORT VEHICLES
If you can help out please let Peter know. The support vehicles are there to carry your o’nite clothes/change of cycling gear - they are not sag wagons! You will be expected to achieve the distances stated without assistance and carrying your basic food/drink requirements.
POST RIDE SATURDAY
Post ride celebrations will be held in the motel restaurant after the ride. We can no longer set up our tents outside the motel. Lunch can also be purchased at the Horse & Jockey motel restaurant or wander downtown.
SATURDAY DINNER & SUNDAY BREAKFAST
The 'Horse & Jockey' restaurant has been booked for 6:30pm Saturday evening dinner. More details for registered riders. Breakfast Sunday is up to riders to organise as we are leaving early to beat the heat.
