The month when all our fabulous jacarandas bloom,...later in the month and fully so in October,...and its the best time of year for a morning cycle,..fresh and invigorating,.....so,...let's chase the brilliant royal blue purple, as Brisbane has the some of the most spectacular displays of jacarandas in Australia,...
As we speak the Wide Bay Tour is on, with it's opening leg up over Diamond Hill Rd into Rosedale village,...with David Dowling, Lawrence Ferrari, Robert Martin, Graeme Robert and Chris Langworthy the team. A 7 day unsupported ride up to Miran Vale and over to the Boyne Burnett Rail trail down to Monto and around to Mt Perry and back to Gin Gin. Too late for this one,...but we'll put it on again next year, as I missed it too,...
Oh,..btw,...Do any of you know where Brisbane's white Christmas jacarandas are,...?

Peter Brennan's Ballina to Casino supported weekend tour is coming up in 2 weeks. 17 riders are registered with Registrations now closed. As accommodation is severely limited in Casino, Peter has set up his tours to ensure every rider gets a bed. So, if you can find your own accommodation on the Saturday, then give Peter a call and you may be given a wildcard,..but don't book without clearance from Peter,...a great weekend away,...beaut country to ride in,...and weather,...you know the answer,...

The mid week rides of Tuesdays Alt Oasis to Sandgate and Thursdays Redcliffe Run and Coffee at the Beach (Sandgate) each leave the Nundah Crit track at 7, 7 and 7.30 am respectively,...
