There's nothing better than a Brisbane autumn morning,.. right?,... with cool air, a clear sky and the bike calling,.. so,..

 

Next week on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th, Ian Chant has his Sunny Coast rides on, one each day,...offering interest and variety. Thursday is a 22 km loop ride leaving he Landsborough train station at 10 am and taking in the Ewen Maddock dam, parts of the Dularcha National Park and the old train tunnel in the Mooloolah Valley,....so catch the train up and back if you like for a very pleasant day ride,...or sleep over,...socialize in the evening with the group in Caloundra,....then enjoy a cruisy Friday ride, about 40 km up the coastal path to Point Cartwright and back,.. A top two days of riding in beautiful surroundings,...plenty of spots left,... Please Consider.

 

Following on is the Gympie North Pub Crawl from Friday 8th to Monday 11th. David Dowling has planned this top little 4 day, 3 night tour to leave your car at home. Just one dollar gets you to Gympie by train,.. how good is that? Then on Saturday evening you'll be camping at Sublime Farm stay and brewery with a night of entertainment covering a show and full catering,... so,... it is well worth considering,.... spots still available,...

 

Two weeks later, Russel Scholl has the Linville Loop rides on 21st to 23th, for three magnificent days riding trails and back roads in and around the BVRT. Free camp in Linville or stay in the pub,… either way it promises to be a beaut time away,...see the calendar for ride routes.

 

On Tuesday 19th Peter Damm and Grant Gowan are leading a 70 km gravel bike ride - Grants Magna Bushbash from Dayboro to Mount Glorious via Lacey's Creek. Check this out as it'll be top ride.

 

The popular Full Moon Ride for today has been cancelled due to bad weather . However, the next full moon is 31 May so keep an eye on the calendar for that one.

 

On Thursday 28th Trevor Bond has a ride up to Deception Bay to catch up with Alan Stevens for an annual coffee and chat,...and return via coastal paths which is very enjoyable,...

 

At the end of the month, Peter Brennan has the Noosa Supported Tour on again,.. such a beautiful ride into the Sunny Coast hinterland on the Saturday and a coastal loop the next day,... plus a wonderful social time guaranteed,... you need to register by 15th May. Spots left,... Please Consider.

 

The regular rides are on the calendar to see,...

Iain Moore's Saturday Arvo ride is on every week leaving the Windsor train station at 3 pm,... then the Brunch Sunday is on the 3rd, 17th and 31st leaving Kalinga Park at 7.30 am bound for Sandgate.

John Stevens has his 2 points from Gumdale rides on every Sunday morn leaving the Eastside Shopping Village at 7 am.

Then the mid-week rides being Tuesdays Alt Oasis to Sandgate and the Thursday Redcliffe Run and the Coffee at the Beach (Sandgate) rides all leaving the Crit track at 7 am and 7.30 am for the latter one,...

 

A couple of non BBTA rides I would like to promote. In two weeks, the weekend of 16th and 17th, Bicycle Queensland (BQ) have fully organized riding some Noosa Trails for a gravel / MTB adventure out of Pomona.
