There is a buzz about the Club at the moment, emanating from the committee with many new initiatives for your enjoyment.

A one months Trial Membership is ready to go making it very easy for potential members to see what's happening and hopefully come on board.

Now for the Rides on offer this month.
Stanthorpe Loop (https://bbta.org/content.aspx?page_id=4091&club_id=738657&item_id=2482203) rides are kicking off this week Thursday and Friday. You can still jump in,..14 members are itching to go now that the rain has stopped,…(we hope,..)
Ian Chant will have a chat forum running for this ride so everyone will be fully in the loop for exactly what's going on and when,.. It will be a top two days away in the deep south west on the apple and vineyard plateau with great mates,..
Later in the month Murray Davies has a day ride across Stradbroke Island (https://bbta.org/content.aspx?page_id=4091&club_id=738657&item_id=2541281). Its down for Tuesday 29th. It’ll be a welcome change to dust off the mountain or gravel bike and jump on the water taxi to a fabulous getaway,..Please Consider.
Our regular rides are on the calendar to see. Such as the Tuesday Alt. Oasis to Sandgate now at the new start time of 7 am, Thursdays Redcliffe Run also starting now at 7 am and Daryl’s Coffee at the Beach ride to Sandgate at the usual start time of 7.30 am.
The other regular Sunday ride is the Bayside Breeze on the 13th and 27th starting at 8 am at the Lota Railway station. Please support this ride as its only in its second month and we are keen to have a steady number of members joining in,…so Thank you for that.
For the Bayside Points Ride,…Its not on the calendar at present as Robert Martin is still down in South Australia with the team riding the 3 week Wine, Pink Lakes and Desert Tour. Oh,..I spoke with Lawrence Ferrari yesterday. He said the tour has been very successful. 7 members are having a great time on the tour. So Thank you Lawrence for planning and leading this tour.
Heads up for another 2 day loop ride this time up on the Sunny Coast (https://bbta.org/content.aspx?page_id=4091&club_id=738657&item_id=2580798) down for Thursday 8th and Friday 9th May. 8 registered already. Please check out the calendar for all the details.
Also in May we have a three dryer Brisbane Valley Rail Trail ride (BVRT https://bbta.org/content.aspx?page_id=4091&club_id=738657&item_id=2510864 ) to consider. It will be great. 7 registered already.
The next Peter Brennan tour is the Noosa Supported Loop rides weekend (https://bbta.org/content.aspx?page_id=4091&club_id=738657&item_id=2442146) is down for the 7th and 8th June. Registrations are now open. Always a social fun weekend with loads of great riding in the hinterland. Please Consider.
Club Jerseys. The second round of orders for the Club Jersey from Scody are now ready. For all those who ordered you will receive a separate email from Peter Damm with info on how to collect your jersey.

We have four members with an exciting ‘Show and Tell’ of their Thailand, Laos and Vietnam bike tour,..so that’ll will be a night Not to be missed,…
