With a Spring in your step,...a scent in the air,... a number of rides,…for you to share,...
Two beaut rides finished up this week,…crossing some great country further afield.
Thank you to Helen Walker for planning and leading the Cobb and Co Cycle Tour and to the 6 members enjoying the re enactment festivities.
Also Thanks to Ian Chant for another top Scenic Rim tour attracting 21 members for two days in and around the Boonah region.
So,..this month sees two multi rides again. First up Peter Brennan’s Ballina to Casino supported ride following on from the inaugural ride last year. Down for this coming weekend 7th and 8th,… unfortunately registrations are now closed. 27 members are riding and 5 supporters making for a top social weekend as well. However, if you’ve missed this one, you can be part of the next tour from Cambooya to Warwick in November.
Then Ian Chant has two day of loop rides out of Warwick and or Killarney. More details will come out in the coming days with 9 club members registered to date.
Our Club Get Together is down for Saturday week the 14th heading up Mount Gravatt to Lovewell’s Cafe from 8 am onwards,…Please join us,..
This Tuesday 3th, we ride the Samford Rail Trail into the Samford Valley, half on bike tracks and half on quiet streets. However, a few kms is along the busy Mount Glorious Road. It will be a 70 km ride at a leisurely speed around 25 km/hr. It leaves from the Nundah Crit at 7 am. So a ride to consider.
The Regular rides are on the Calendar. John Stevens 2 Points from Gumdale each Sunday morn at 7 am leaving from the Eastside Shopping Village. The midweek Tuesday Alt. Oasis to Sandgate and Thursday’s Redcliffe Run each leaving the Nundah Crit track at 7 am and Daryl Beattie’s Coffee at the Beach ride each Thursday also from the Crit track leaving at 7.30 am.
So,..an update on the Club jersey ordering. Its humming along with 30 members having placed an order and 7 of those ordering 2 or 3. We still have members who are yet to try on the sample jerseys as in Peter Brennan’s tour group. I will bring the sample jerseys to try on this coming weekend.
We are super keen on every single member having a Club Jersey.
Keeping in mind that purchasing a jersey is not just about you, but doing it for everyone you ride with, so we look and ride like a Club that we want to be part of,...
If for any reason you are out of town, overseas for any part of this process, email me and I will sort it for you.
Also if you are having difficulty getting to try on the sample jerseys, then please email Glenn Rashleigh at gerashleigh@gmail.com and he will put some options forward as to when and where you can do this.
So,...That's It for now,…
