While most of the activities of the BBTA occur on a bike – either on a daily ride or a longer tour – we do have some scheduled meetings. These occur fairly regularly, in fact.
Social Nights are held at the Grange Library Hall / Meeting Room , 79 Evelyn Street The Grange 4051, commencing at 7:00pm on the first Tuesday of the following months: March, May, July, September and November. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Each social night has planned activities based on various aspects of cycling, e.g. a guest speaker may be invited to talk on physical exercises to enhance one’s cycling, or a local bike shop notable may speak on bicycle repairs and maintenance, or Club members may give a presentation on their recent Australian or overseas cycling tour.
The meeting dates are advertised on the BBTA home-page.
This is held on the evening of the social night in March, at the Grange Library Meeting Room venue, and sees the annual election of the new Committee. Reports are also presented by the Treasurer, President, and other Committee members.
These are held at 6:30 pm on the first Tuesday of the following months: February, April, June, August, October, and December, again at the Grange Library venue.
